11341 Sixpence and Letter  Contained in a 1/6 case. A small
envelope bearing the name “Lieut.  Edwin Wise” and half of
a silver sixpence in a small beaded bag are attached to the
pad while a letter is safely under glass where an image would
go. The letter reads “This old Silver Sixpence sent broken in
two by my dearly loved Edwin & me, ____ to our marriage –
June 1839. And now I am deprived of that lovely lamented
effect. Husband, I shall enclose it and intend bearing it
around my neck til it shall please God to call me to his
mercy!!! July 1840 Eliza W.”  A very unique piece.  Case
spine has now been nicely repaired.  $395
