stationed at Fort Yates, Dakota Territory circa 1880's.
Each person  is identified on the verso in ink.
Photograph was taken outside the residence of the Fort
Commander, Lt. Col. Drum, the man tasked with
arresting Sitting Bull. Fort Yates was established in
1875 and renamed in 1880 in honor of Lt George Yates,
who was killed at the Little Big Horn Massacre with
Custer in 1876. Measures 8.5" x 6.5" and is in fine
condition with wear as shown in the scan. $475
