20361 Jacob Hoffman 44th New York  1/9 plate ambrotype of private
Hoffman who fought on little roundtop and was wounded a year later.
The  unit has a nice history. He has an SNY belt plate and the images
really clear but a bit dark like some ambrotypes can be. Comes with a
1/6 plate family daguerreotype no case and a 1/9 plate ambrotype of
family members. Both cases have a split spine. $225

At Gettysburg the regiment was posted on the left of the line and
joined in the defense of Little Round Top, where it met with its
greatest loss-111 killed, wounded and missing.
