plate daguerreotype of a gentleman in a half case of the type used by Cornelius. The man resembles Washington Irving and comes
with a CDV of Irving. There are wipes on
the plate and the cover glass has been replaced
resulting in a bit of a loose fit in the case. . Circa 1841.
