Staring Contest ΒΌ plate daguerreotype of a man with bushy sideburns and a curl of hair next to his ear focusing intently on the camera. He wears a light colored jacket with large silk tie. He has both his hands in his lap. Case latches fine but has a bit of an offset between the two halves. A very nice plate.
