Trusty the Horse ¼ plate daguerreotype of a horse and two people in a buggy. The image is accompanied by a card that tells the story of "Trusty” the horse. According to the card he was trained to "stand” while his owner shot game while resting his gun between the horse’s ears. The inscription is on the back of a Book Shop card from Concord, Mass.
