SanFrancisco Man by Hamilton and Lovering – 1/6 plate ambrotype pictures an older man with a large belly. He sits, staring into the camera with a bit of a frown. His hair is somewhat unkempt, including a grey splotch above his ear. He wears a unfastened suit jacket and a tight-fitted vest. The image was taken by the San Francisco makers Hamilton and Lovering, evidence which is stamped on the frame. A gold oval placed behind a square frames the image. Image is housed in a dark brown leather case with one clasp.
