Philadelphia Family ½ plate daguerreotype of a family of five with the youngest daughter seated on dad’s lap and wearing a tinted dress. Some minor plate imperfections and a finger print on the right edge. Could use a new cover glass. The photographer is identified in the bottom of the case that is missing one rail but functions fine. C.M. Ising Daguerreotypist No 46^th N. Eighth, Philadelphia. Ising was at this address in 1853-54.
