African American Allen Mellincourt Three 1/9 plate ruby
ambrotypes in half cases featuring African American gentleman Allen Mellincourt
in Whitemarsh, PA at a home called the "Milk House”. Identified from engravings
on the perimeter of the preservers and so with ink notes from a later date.
Note in one image he has a straight pin sticking out if his hat.
