Vinson Loomis 10th NY Cav WIA Pension records show him as wounded with a shot gun blast left leg wrist and head. Location and date not listed but he is listed as sent to the hospital August 23rd, 1864. The reg was at the battle of Reams Station Va on that date. He was at Gettysburg.
