Possible Pennsylvania Drummer Boy A standing view CDV of a young boy. The boy is wearing a private purchase sack coat with brass buttons that looks functional rather than showy. His slouch hat also looks like it is intended for serious campaigning, and is complete with a legitimate officer-style hat cord obtained from a real military outfitter. Without provenance or a musical instrument in the photo, the boy cannot be proven to a drummer, but there is credible circumstantial evidence. Back marked Harmany & Eberman, Lancaster, PA. with 2 cent blue revenue stamp.
