Tench Coxe Delegate to Constitutional Convention from Pennsylvania ALS, one page signed in the text, 9” x 8”, Dec. 27, 1797. American political economist who wrote under the pseudonym ‘A Pennsylvanian,’ and was known to his political enemies as ‘Mr. Facing Bothways.’ In full:

” Mr. Tench Coxe presents his respects to Mr. Dayton, and informs him, that it is his most earnest wish, that his letter of the 26th instant, relative to a scrutiny into his official Conduct, may be laid before the House of Representatives.
