Grandma by Brady ¼ plate daguerreotype of a Wealthy older woman in a bonnet swathed in several layers of furs. The pad indicates that the image was taken by Brady. A note attached to the pad reads "Elise’s great-great-grandmother on her mother’s side”. The left side of this plate has thin wipes and it doesn't show very well in the scan. Still a great opportunity to own an image by one of the greats. In a scarce Wolfert's Roost case.
