Mother In Black Gloves With Child - ¼ daguerreotype

the eyes of the cameraman. She wears a dark, silk long dress decorated with a ruffled collar and brooch. She also wears black lace gloves as she wraps her arm around her daughter’s shoulder. The toddler is propped in a photographer’s chair and wears a patterned dress. The daguerreotype is behind a nonpareil mat with spider mold on the edges of the images.
