Young Couple in Washington Case Two 1/6th plate ambrotypes contained in the sharp-looking and rare thermoplastic case The Medallion of George Washington with Motto. The woman appears to be wearing some sort of veil down her back. The mat on the man is stamped "Bacon’s / 208 Bowery”. The case has small chips in two corners and along the top of
the back cover and doesn’t latch tightly, but otherwise is in great condition.
