Samuel M Swigert-Indian Fighter Mount measures 13 X 10 in. Swigert graduated from West Point in 1868 and
is shown here in his West Point uniform from 1868, Click on the link to see his full biography
but he fought Indians with the 2ndCavalry. He fought some of the same
Indians that wiped out Custer when he participated in the battle at the Rosebud.
