Richardson, Tex., to June, 1870, — Scouting, to Aug. 31, 1870, — Camp on Wichita, Tex., to Jan. 20, 1871, — Ft. Richardson, Tex., to Mar., 1871, — Scouting, to June, 1871, — and Ft. Dodge, Kan., to June 10, 1872 (leave of absence, Dec. 11, 1871, to Feb. 19, 1872). He resigned June 10th 1872.
