Alonzo Bishop 101st Ohio (WIA Franklin) Grouping This grouping consists of:
1. War date letter 9 ½” X 15” mentioning Grants victory at Vicksburg. "…the soldiers in this part of the army feel first rate we drive the Rebs before us like so many cattle & there is lots of them that is deserting & giving themselves up. "
2. A postwar letter from a fellow soldier attesting to what he knows about Alonzo Bishop’s health.
3. A civilian view of Bishop and his wife.
4. A 1/9 plate tintype of his daughter and 1888 clipping explaining the death of Bishops daughter.
