a Union cavalry sergeant with fantastic boots. The trooper is being steadied
with the photographers’ headstand seen at his feet while he balances himself
with his cavalry saber in front. The edge of the curtain is seen on the left
side of the photograph. Image is housed in a 1/2 thermoplastic case.
