Vance Gent as "Surgeon to our Fifty seventh or the West Middlesex Regiment of Foot Commanded by our Trusty and well beloved General John Campbell” Lieutenant to that Troop...in Our Royal Regiment of Horse Guards." Signed at the head by King George III, and countersigned at the conclusion by Home Secretary Robert Jenkinson, Lord Hawkesbury. The seals affixed to the left side remain intact.
