Pony Cart 1/6 plate daguerreotype of a child sitting in a pony cart. Blue tinting is on the back part of the cart interior and the active child has moved slightly. The photographer has rigged a head stand behind the child in an attempt to hold her still. Evidence of the base of the headstand can be seen below the cart. Some mat abrasions and minor imperfections. Contained in a nice Boston style black push button case.
