Woman with Papers Signed in the Plate Stanbury 1/4 plate daguerreotype of a young woman lost in thought as she holds a group of letters or papers. The plate itself bears the photographers signature in the lower left corner. Joseph R. Stanbury was a Brooklyn New York photographer. There are some spots on the plate and some very minor scratches none of which detract much. Contained in a well worn full case.
