High Collar – ¼ plate daguerreotype of a middle-aged man with close cropped beard and wearing a very wide and tight black tie. Looks like a clergyman to me. Old seals still there. Contained in the scarce Larwell style double door with shield case. The brass shield has an
engraved horse on it. The hinges on the case are cloth repairs and the case functions fine.
