Preacher and Wife? - ¼ plate daguerreotype presents a middle-aged couple seated next to one another. The man holds a book in his hand while his other hand is resting on his wife’s shoulder. She wears a dark dress with a shawl draped tightly over her shoulders. She clasps what may be Bible in her hand. There are scattered tarnish spots on the plate and a green spot on the man's book. Circa 1849-50
