slightly smaller size. 1861 is missing the back cover. These books are packed with great advertising and interesting facts war related, political and more. These neat little Civil War vintage book appears to have been simply set aside in storage all these years remaining in good overall condition. Lots of attractive advertisements and the typical hints, medical advice and interesting trivia that made these little books a popular home
