Maj. Gen. A. W. Greely CS He was an American Polar explorer and career Army officer. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for lifetime achievement, the second and last time the Army awarded the MOH for non-combat service. In 1986 the U.S. Postal Service issued a 22 cent stamp in his honor. CS, 4 7/8 x 2 1/4" "Yours, A.W. Greely, Major General A.W. Greely.” Attached to an album page with one piece of rolled tape.
