New York, 21st Vol.Cav. Votes for President Soldier voting in the 1864 presidential election. Partly printed DS, 4to, soldiers power of attorney allowing Patrick Regan to cast a vote on behalf of soldier Richard Tobin (21st Cav.) (Tobin was to be a POW at White Post Va.) Also signed by Peter Hogeboom Capt. of the 21st Cav. Accompanied by a nice partly printed envelope also signed by Tobin and Hogeboom.
