Flute Player And Friends - CDV shows three eccentric looking men who have enough facial hair for six men. Two of the men sit with their legs crossed wearing long dark pants and white, puffy, long sleeved shirts as well as vests. The seated men also wear hats that appear to be tasseled. One friend stands behind the seated gentlemen while he rests a hand on each of his friends’ shoulders. The standing gentleman wears light colored pants with a vest that is sloppily buttoned. He also sports a jacket. One man holds a flute with fingers positioned ready to play. They pose upon a striped carpet before a plain wall that is half-way draped. The back of the card reads, "J.T. Sparks, Photographer Washington, Indiana. All kinds of Pictures copied, enlarged, colored and framed to order. This Negative is preserved.” Mount is trimmed and the photo a little wrinkled.
