Two Men And A Melting Pot - Occupational cabinet card of two workers who may be father and son judging from the resemblance. We are not sure of the profession as this steam melting pot could be used for a number of jobs. We see a valve on the bottom front and a tin cup for water hangs on the side. The dad is seen in well-worn coveralls with a hole in his pant knee on the right side. A patch or his long underwear shows through the hole. His young assistant is much more professionally dressed with a pencil and comb in this vest pocket. He is also carrying a large upholstered bag on his shoulder which is surely filled with the tools of their trade. Front marked Kildahl of Dundee, Illinois.
