Circus Clown Billy Andrews 19th century
circus performer Billy Andrews (1840-1895) CDV in costume. He started out
watering elephants, later becoming an aerial tumbler and eventually a clown and
singer. He was on the show with Orton Brothers, Barnum, Sells and other
circuses. He died in an insane asylum. William Adams has written
his name on the back in period pencil.
