Caroline P. Bard ½ plate daguerreotype of Caroline seated next to her bonnet which rests on the table. Lots of scatted mold spiders on this otherwise nice plate. A quick search reveals that she was born about 1823 and was married to James D Bard who was a gold pen dealer in New York City.
