Dr. Hewitt and Mrs. Hewitt - Two CDVs portraying an older officer identified in modern pemcil as Dr. Charles N. Hewitt. I am not sure who he is. He is not the Hewitt in the 50th NY Eng. Dr. Hewitt stands alone wearing his military full dress including a sword at his side. The card has a horizontal bend just below the photo. The second CDV shows Mrs. Hewitt wearing a long, black gown accentuated with white doily sleeves and collar. She stands next to a side table covered with a flowered table cloth. Both images are produced by J.F. Ryder of Cleveland, OH.
